The CyDAS Help System

The CyDAS Help System is still in early development. Upto now, all help links implemented point to the CyDAS documentation on the CyDAS web server.

"Help" is generally implemented as a menu item in the different forms of the CyDAS application. There, they will get you to the respective pages dealing with the functionality of the present form, either as a documentation for the user ("User Documentation"), or as a more technical documentation looking behind the scenes intended for programmers ("Technical Documentation").

From the main window, a utility for searching the CyDAS documentation is available under "Help - Search".

In this form, you can enter search key words, select a search engine (Google, Microsoft Beta Search, Yahoo), and the scope of the search (limited to the CyDAS web site or the whole internet). Click on "Search" to start the search in your standard web browser. Actually, you can abuse this form to search the internet for any keywords you want.
